Orta Yetişkinlik Döneminde Sorumluluk ve Dindarlık İlişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, orta yetişkinlik dönemindeki bireylerin sorumluluk ve dindarlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi çeşitli değişkenler (cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, meslek, gelir durumu, öğrenim durumu, hayatının büyük çoğunluğunun geçtiği yer) açısından ele alarak incelemektir. Araştırma 2022 yılında, Samsun ve Ordu illerinde yaşamlarına devam etmekte olan, 35-55 yaş aralığında bulunan, kolay örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiş 365 orta yetişkin üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Sorumluluk Duygusu ve Davranışı Ölçeği ve Dindarlık Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmış olup uygulama sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS 22 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Veriler normal dağılım göstermediğinden gruplar arası farklılaşmayı tespit etmek için Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis H testi uygulanırken, sorumluluk ve dindarlık arasındaki ilişkinin anlamlılığını, kuvvetini ve yönünü belirlemek için Korelasyon analizi (Spearman Brown) uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, katılımcıların dindarlık düzeylerini cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, mesleki durum ve gelir durumlarının etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenim durumu ve hayatlarının büyük çoğunluğunu geçirdikleri yer ile dindarlık düzeyleri arasında ise anlamlı bir farklılık gözlemlenmemiştir. Katılımcıların sorumluluk duygusu ve davranış düzeylerini ise cinsiyet faktörünün etkilediği ancak yaş, medeni durum, mesleki durum, gelir durumu, öğrenim durumu ve hayatlarının büyük çoğunluğunu geçirdikleri yer gibi bağımsız değişkenlerin etkilemediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sorumluluk duygusu ve davranışı ile dindarlık arasındaki ilişkinin ise sorumluluğun hem duygu hem de davranış boyutunda pozitif yönde ve orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda 'Orta yetişkinlik dönemindeki bireylerin sorumluluk duygusu ve davranış düzeyleri ile dindarlık düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişki bulunmaktadır' şeklindeki hipotez doğrulanmıştır. The research was conducted on 365 middle-aged adults aged 35-55, selected by convenience sampling method, living in Samsun and Ordu provinces in 2022. The data used in the research were collected with the Personal Information Form, the Sense of Responsibility and Behavior Scale and the Religiosity Scale. Relational scanning method, one of the quantitative research models, was used in the research and the data obtained as a result of the application were analyzed with the SPSS 22 statistical program. Since the data did not show a normal distribution, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H tests were applied to determine the difference between groups, while Correlation analysis (Spearman Brown) was applied to determine the significance, strength and direction of the relationship between responsibility and religiosity. According to the results of the research, it was determined that the religiosity levels of the participants were affected by gender, age, marital status, professional status and income status. No significant difference was observed between their educational level, the place where they spent most of their lives, and their level of religiosity. It was concluded that the gender factor affected the sense of responsibility and behavior of the participants, but the independent variables such as age, marital status, professional status, income status, education level and the place where they spent most of their lives did not. It has been determined that the relationship between the sense of responsibility and behavior and religiosity is positive and moderate in both emotion and behavior dimensions of responsibility. In this context, the hypothesis that 'There is a positive correlation between the sense of responsibility and behavior levels of individuals in middle adulthood and their level of religiosity' has been confirmed.
