Abstract
IVO2+ ve Cu2+ İYONU KATKILANDIRILMIŞ OKSALATLI VE SİTRATLIBİLEŞİKLERİN EPR VE OPTİK ABSORPSİYON İNCELEMESİÖZETBu çalışmada VO2+ geçiş metal iyonu katkılı DAHS [(NH3)2C6H8O7], AHOHH[(NH4)HC2O4·0.5H2O] ve SHOMH [NaHC2O4.H2O] tek ve toz kristallerinin EPR veOptik Soğurma çalışmaları ile Cu2+ geçiş metal iyonu katkılandırılmış AHOHH tekkristalinin EPR incelemeleri yapıldı.VO2+ iyonu katkılı örneklerden; DAHS'ın EPR incelemesi sonucu üç farklı grup veher bir gruba ait iki site elde edildi. Elde edilen bu EPR verilerinden gruplarınmonoklinik kristal simetrisinin özelliklerini gösterdiği belirlendi. AHOHH tekkristalinin EPR incelemesinden yapı içinde iki farklı grubun oluştuğu görüldü. Yapılanhesaplamalardan her iki grubun ortorombik kristal simetrisi özelliğini gösterdiğibelirlendi. SHOMH tek kristalinin EPR incelemesinde ise her biri tek site sahip dörtfarklı grup belirlendi. SHOMH kristalinde her bir grup kristalin simetrisi olan trikliniközelliği vermektedir. Yapılan hesaplamalar sonucundan elde edilen EPRparametrelerinden tüm kompleks merkezlerinin yerel simetrilerinin eksensel simetrideolduğu belirlendi. Ayrıca her bir yapı için optik soğurma d-d geçiş enerjileri ile EPRparametreleri bir arada kullanılarak moleküler orbital bağ katsayıları hesaplanarakeşlenmemiş elektronu taban durumu ve çevre yapıları açıklandı.Cu2+ geçiş metal iyonu katkılı AHOHH tek kristalinin EPR incelemesinden farklıiki grubun oluştuğu ve her bir grubun iki kompleks merkezine sahip olduğu gözlendi.Yapılan hesaplamalar sonucunda komplekse ait paramanyetik merkezlerin yerelsimetrisinin rombik simetrisine sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşıldı. Ayrıca Cu2+ iyonu içineşleşmemiş elektronun taban durumu dalga fonksiyonu EPR parametreleri kullanılarakoluşturuldu.Anahtar Kelimeler: VO2+ İyonu, Cu2+ İyonu, Optik Soğurma, d-d Geçiş enerjisi,Oksalat, Sitrat.
IIEPR and OPTICAL ABSORPTION STUDY of VO2+ and Cu2+ DOPED ofOXALATES and CITRATES COMPOUNDSABSTRACTIn this study, optical absorption and EPR study of powder and single crystals ofVO2+ transition metal ion doped in DAHS [(NH3)2C6H8O7], AHOHH[(NH4)HC2O4·0.5H2O] and SHOMH [NaHC2O4.H2O] together with EPR study of Cu2+ion doped in AHOHH were carried out.In the EPR study of VO2+ ion doped DAHS, it is observed three different groupswith each having two sites. The EPR parameters indicated that the crystal is inmonoclinic system. Single crystal EPR investigation of AHOHH has given twodifferent groups in the structure. The calculations indicated that these two groups areboth from the orthorhombic crystal system. In the EPR analysis of SHOMH singlecrystal, four groups with each having simple triclinic site symmetry were obtained. TheEPR calculations are also clearly explains that the local symmetry of all the complexesis axial symmetry. After obtaining the optical d-d absorption transitions of eachstructure and the EPR parameters one can calculate the local symmetry and themolecular orbital coefficients of the unpaired electron in its ground state.In the EPR transition of Cu2+ ion doped in AHOHH single crystal, two groupswith each having two complex centres were observed. The calculated results indicatedthat the local paramagnetic centre of the complex has rhombic symmetry. Additionally,the ground state wave function of the unpaired electron by using the EPR parameters isconstructed.Keywords: VO2+, Cu2+, Optical Absorption, d-d Transition Energy, Oxalate, Citrate.
