Publication: The Treatment of Tuberculosis
Abstract
The frequency of infection with M. tuberculosis resistant to antituberculous drugs is increasing globally and in our county. This increases have altered recommendations for standard therapeutic regimens for tuberculosis. Standard treatment of tuberculosis includes isoniasid (H), rifampin (R) and pyrazinamide (Z), but at least one of the drug such as ethambutol (E) or streptomycin (S) should be edded to the treatment.
