Erich Fromm'un Hümaniter Din Anlayışının Günümüz Toplumları Açısından Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Erich Fromm'un savunduğu hümaniter dinin temel argümanları Tanrı inancınınvarlığından çok onun otoritesiyle ilgilidir. Tanrısal otoriteden söz edildiğinde ise çoğu zamansöz konusu olan Tanrı'nın egemenliği değil insanın bunu kendi amaçları uğruna araç olarakkullanmasıdır. Hümaniter dinin ortaya koyduğu çözümler insanoğlunun bireysel itkileriyle herkoşulda yüzleşmek zorunda kalması nedeniyle, her zaman öznelliğin tehdidi altındadır.Anahtar kelimeler: Erich Fromm, humaniter din, Tanrı'nın otoritesi, bireysel itki,öznellik

Basic arguments for humanistic religion, as defended by Erich Fromm, are concernedwith the authority of God, rather than with his existence. In the discourses about authority ofGod, the basic issue is rather of manipulation of this authority in the direction of humaninterest and not of the constitution of this authority as a theological and moral principle. Fromthis perspective, resolutions, offered by humanistic religion, are under the threat ofsubjectivity with regarding to the fact that human being has been always faced with individualimpulses and interests.Key Words, Erich Fromm, humanistic religion, authority of God, individual impulses,subjectivity
