Abstract
Komplekslerin [Ag2(2,5-pydc)(4,4'-bipy)]?4H2O, [Ag(3,4-pydc)(2,2'-bipy)]? H2O ve [Ag2(3,4-pydc)] kapalı formülüne sahip olduğu belirlendi. Komplekslerin termal davranışları ise eş zamanlı TG ve DTA termal analiz teknikleri kullanılarak araştırıldı. Gümüş(I)-pydc komplekslerinin hava atmosferinde gerçekleştirilen termal analizi sürekli kütle kaybının olduğu bir bozunma prosesi davranışı göstermiştir. Bozunmanın ilk aşamasında nötr ligandlar kısmen veya tamamen kaybolmuştur. Bu aşamayı organik ligandların ekzotermik bozunması takip etmiştir. Son bozunma ürünü olarak metalik gümüş kaldığı belirlenmiştir. Sentezlenen komplekslerin antimikrobiyal özellikleri araştırılmış ve gram(+) ve gram(-) patojenik bakteri hücrelerine karşı yüksek etkili antimikrobiyel davranış gösterdikleri belirlenmiştir.Aynı zamanda komplekslerin oda sıcaklığında katı hal fotolüminesans özellikleri araştırıldı. Anahtar Kelimeler: Gümüş(I) Kompleksleri; Fotolümineans; Termal Analiz; Antimikrobiyal Özellik; Piridindikarboksilat.
In this study, three new mixed ligand Ag(I) coplexes constracted from 2,5 and 3,4-pydc were synthesized. Suitable crystals of the complexes can not be obtained for single crystal X-ray diffraction. Therefore, formula of complexes are suggested, depending on FT-IR spectra and elementel analysis results. it is found that they have [Ag2(2,5-pydc)(4,4'-bipy)]?4H2O, [Ag(3,4-pydc)(2,2'-bipy)]?H2O, [Ag2(3,4-pydc)] formula. Thermal behaviors of the complexes were studied by combined thermal analyses techniques TG and DTA. The thermal analyses of silver(I)-pydc complexes measured in a air atmosphere, exhibit a complicated decomposition process with a continuous mass loss. The neutral ligands are partially or completely lost in the first stage. This stage is followed by the exothermal decomposition of the remained organic residue. The final decompositions product corresponds to the metallic silver. The complexes have been tested for their in vitro antibacterial activity and are determined to be highly effective for antibacterial activity against gram(+) and gram(-) pathogenic bacteria cells. Furthermore, the solid state photolüminescence properties of the complexes have been studied at room temperature. Key Words: Silver (I) Complexes; Photoluminescence; Thermal Analysis; Antimicrobial property; Pyridinedicarboxylate.
