Publication: Gazi Tömer 'Yabancılar İçin Türkçe' Öğretim Seti ile İlgili Yapılan Araştırmalar Üzerine Bir Meta-sentez Çalışması
Abstract
Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde önemli bir yeri bulunan materyallerden birisi de dil öğretim setleridir. Bu setler, Türkçe öğretiminin başarısını büyük ölçüde etkilemektedir. Türkçe öğretimi konusundaki talep artışı, bu alanda kullanılan materyallerdeki sorunların tespit edilip geliştirilmesini gerekli kılmaktadır. Bu gerekçe doğrultusunda Gazi TÖMER Yabancılar İçin Türkçe seti ile ilgili yapılmış akademik çalışmaların bulgularını analiz etmek, analiz sonuçlarını bir araya getirerek değerlendirmek ve dağınık hâlde bulunan çalışmaları bir çatı altında toplamak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma, bir nitel çalışma olup, araştırmada içerik analizi yöntemlerinden biri olan meta-sentez kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada verilerin tespiti için doküman incelemesi yöntemine başvurulmuştur. Araştırma problemi kapsamında Gazi Yabancılar İçin Türkçe öğretim seti ile ilgili yapılmış bilimsel çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmuş ve çeşitli veri tabanlarından kırk iki (42) tez, otuz üç (33) makale ve altı (6) bildiri olmak üzere toplam seksen bir (81) çalışmaya ulaşılmıştır. Çalışmalar, amaçsal örnekleme yöntemlerinden ölçüt örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenmiştir. İncelenen çalışmalar, çözümleme aşamasında ele alınan konu çerçevesinde karşılaştırılmış ve gruplandırılmıştır. Her bir çalışma türüne göre tez ise T1, T2, … T42 , makale ise M1, M2, ..M43, tam metin bildiri ise B1, B2 …..B6 şeklinde kodlanmış, kodların benzerlik ve farklılıkları incelenerek konu alanları belirlenmiştir. Oluşturulan konu alanları çerçevesinde bir her bir çalışma diğerleriyle tekrar karşılaştırılmış ve bulgular tablo hâline getirilmiştir. Değerlendirmeler sonucunda Gazi TÖMER Yabancılar İçin Türkçe seti ile ilgili yapılmış akademik çalışmalarda amaçlar, sorunlar, sonuçlar, öneriler, ele alınan seviyeler, çalışmalarda kaç farklı setin değerlendirildiğine ilişkin veriler, konu alanlarına göre ortak bir çatıda toplanmıştır. Bu verilerden hareketle bazı sorunların bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sorunlar, ders kitaplarının okuma/anlama, kültür aktarımı, söz varlığı, konuşma, etkinlikler, dinleme, kelime öğretimi, yazma, değerler eğitimi, görseller, ölçme ve değerlendirme, biçimsel özellikler, çerçeve metin, disiplinler arasılık, temalar ve mizahi unsurlar açısından güncellenmesine işaret etmektedir.
One of the most important materials for teaching Turkish as a foreign language is the language teaching sets. These sets greatly affect the success of teaching Turkish. Due to the increase in demand for learning Turkish, the problems in the materials used in this field should be identified and solved. For this reason, this study was carried out in order to analyze the findings of academic research on Gazi TOMER Turkish for Foreigners set, to evaluate the results of the analysis, and to gather scattered studies together. It is a qualitative study in which meta-synthesis, one of the content analysis methods, was used. In the study, document analysis method was used to determine the data. Within the scope of the research problem, scientific research on the Gazi Turkish teaching for Foreigners set was needed ,and a total of eighty-one (81) studies, including forty-two (42) theses, thirty-three (33) articles, and six (6) papers, were accessed from various databases. The studies were selected in accordance with the criterion sampling method, one of the purposive sampling methods. The studies examined were compared and grouped within the framework of the subject discussed in the analysis stage. Each study has been coded according to its type; the theses were coded as T1, T2, ... T42 , the articles were coded as M1, M2, ...M43, the full text papers were coded as B1, B2 ... B6, and the similarities and differences of the codes were examined and the subject areas were identified. Within the framework of the subject areas created, each study was compared with the others again, and the findings were put in tables. As a result of the analyses, the objectives, problems, results, suggestions, levels, and the data on how many different sets were examined in the academic studies related to Gazi TOMER Turkish for Foreigners set were gathered under a common heading according to their subject areas. In the meta-synthesis carried out within the scope of the research, reading/comprehension, cultural transfer, vocabulary, speaking, activities, listening, vocabulary teaching, writing, values education, visuals, assessment and evaluation, formal features, frame text, interdisciplinarity, whether there is a need for update in terms of themes and elements of humor in the Gazi TOMER Turkish for Foreigners teaching set were determined and suggestions were made in this regard.
