| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of fuzzy multimetric space by combining Smarandache multi-spaces with fuzzy metric space. Also some characteristics of fuzzy multi-metric space are obtained. Furthermore, we extend the Banach fixed point theorem to (fuzzy) contractive mappings in fuzzy multi-metric spaces.
