Görsel Sanatlar Öğretmenlerinin Öğretim Sürecinde Kullandıkları Öğretim Yöntemleri ve Yaratıcılıkları Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin yaratıcılıkları ile öğretim sürecinde kullanmayı tercih ettikleri öğretim yöntemleri arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyen bu çalışmanın amacı, Samsun ilinde görev yapan görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin kullanmış oldukları öğretim yöntemlerini belirlemek ve tercih ettikleri yöntemlerin yaratıcılıkları ile ilişkisini saptamaktır. Bu araştırma sanatsal yaratıcılık düzeyleri yüksek olan öğretmenlerin, öğrencilerin özgün ve yenilikçi bireyler olarak eğitim almalarına büyük katkılarının olacağı öngörüsü ile hazırlanmıştır. Sözü edilen katkıların yerine getirilebilmesi için genel öğretim yöntemlerinin yerine kullanılabilecek görsel sanatlar dersi özelinde tercih edilebilecek öğretim yöntemlerinin hangi konuların öğretiminde kullanılacağının bu çalışma kapsamında önerilmiş olması alana özgün katkılar sağlayabilecektir. Bu araştırma nicel bir araştırma olup genel tarama modeli ve ilişkisel tarama modeline uygun olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Samsun ilinde görev yapan görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu ise kolayda örnekleme alma yolu ile seçilen 53'ü erkek, 106'sı kadın 159 görsel sanatlar öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Demografik bilgileri içeren 5 adet sorudan oluşan kişisel bilgi formu, 20 adet yöntemden oluşan öğretim yöntemleri kullanım sıklığı anketi ve 50 maddelik Kaufman Yaratıcılık Alanları Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler Google Formlar aracılığı ile gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma süresince elde edilen veriler, SPSS programına aktarılmış, bulgular tablolaştırılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın 11 adet alt problemine yönelik bulgularda öğretmenler en sık 'soru-cevap', 'anlatım', 'kolaydan zora gitme', 'beyin fırtınası' ve 'buluş yolu (araştırma, inceleme, yorumlama ve uygulama)' yöntemlerini kullanmışlardır. En az kullanılan yöntemler ise, 'rapor hazırlama ve/veya sunma', 'proje destekli sunuş yoluyla öğretim', 'yaratıcı drama', 'proje tasarımı/yönetimi' ve 'alan gezisi' olarak sıralanmıştır. Araştırmanın ana problemine yönelik %99 güvenirlilikle istatistiksel olarak görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin yaratıcılıkları ile öğretim sürecinde kullanmayı tercih ettikleri öğretim yöntemleri arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.The aim of this study, which examines the relationship between the creativity of visual arts teachers and the teaching methods they prefer to use in the teaching process, is to determine the teaching methods used by visual arts teachers working in Samsun and to determine the relationship of the methods they prefer with their creativity. This research has been prepared with the foresight that teachers with high levels of artistic creativity will contribute greatly to the education of students as original and innovative individuals. In order to fulfill the aforementioned contributions, the fact that the teaching methods that can be preferred in the visual arts course that can be used instead of the general teaching methods are suggested within the scope of this study will provide original contributions to the field. This research is a quantitative research and was designed in accordance with the general survey model and the relational survey model. The universe of the research consists of visual arts teachers working in Samsun in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample group of the research consists of 159 visual arts teachers, 53 male and 106 female, who were selected by sampling easily. A personal information form consisting of 5 questions containing demographic information, a questionnaire consisting of 20 methods of frequency of use of teaching methods and a 50-item Kaufman Scale of Creativity Fields were used. Data was collected on a voluntary basis through Google Forms. The data obtained during the research were transferred to the SPSS program, the findings were tabulated and interpreted. In the findings for the 11 sub-problems of the study, the teachers most frequently used the methods of 'question-answer', 'lecture', 'going from easy to difficult', 'brainstorming' and 'invention path (research, examination, interpretation and application)'. The least used methods are listed as 'report preparation and/or presentation', 'project supported teaching through presentation', 'creative drama', 'project design/management' and 'field trip'. With 99% reliability for the main problem of the research, statistically, it was concluded that there is a positive and moderately significant relationship between the creativity of visual arts teachers and the teaching methods they prefer to use in the teaching process.
