Abstract
Pervaneler; uçaklarda ve gemilerde itme ve çekme gücünü, aspiratörlerde hava akımını, rüzgâr türbinlerinde dönme etkisini sağlayan elemanlardır. Pervanelerde verimi etkileyen faktörlerin başında pervanenin modellenmesi gelmektedir ve model oluştururken de pervanenin bazı parametrelerinin bilinmesi gereklidir. Çünkü model oluşturmada en önemli kıstas bu parametrelerin büyüklükleridir.Pervane modelleri oluşturulurken pervanenin şeklini meydana getiren pal sayısı, pervane hatvesi ve pal açıları önemlidir. Bu değerler hesaplanabildiği durumlarda pervane verimleri de ölçülebilinir.Bu çalışmada pervaneler aerodinamik açıdan incelenmiştir. İncelemede hesaplamalı akışkanlar dinamiği paket programı olan FLUENT kullanılmıştır. Pervanelerdeki farklı hücum açılarında hız ve basınç değerleri gözlemlenmiş ve pervane modelinde seçilecek en uygun hücum açısının belirlenmesinde fikir vermesi hedeflenmiştir.Yapılan çalışmada 4 farklı hücum açısında pervane modeli tasarlanmış ve bu modeller fluent programında koşturularak hız ve basınç diyagramları elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen diyagramlardan küçük ve büyük hücum açılarında farklı basınç ve hız değerleri oluştuğu görülmüştür.Bu çalışmanın sonunda analizleri yapılan geometrilerin 1/5 oranında küçültülmüş modelleri Alüminyum malzemeden işlenerek, bu modeller üzerinde rüzgar tünelinde akış gözlem deneyleri yapılmıştır.
Propellers are the components providing the pushing and pulling power in airplanes and ships, the air flow in aspirators and the effect of rotation in the wind turbine. The main factor affecting the efficiency in propellers is the propeller modelling and some parameters must be known during propeller modelling. Because, these values of parameters are the main factor in model creating.In creating a propeller model, the pal number, the propeller pitch and the pal angels that all make up the shape of the propeller are also important. In cases that these values can be calculated, the propeller efficiency can be measured.In this study, propellers were examined aerodynamics of propellers were examined. In this investigation the FLUENT which is a computational fluid dynamics software package, was used. . The velocity and pressure values in different angles of attack in propeller were observed and the most appropriate angle of attack to be chosen was aimed.In this study, the propeller models in 4 different angles of attacks were designed and the velocity and pressure diagrams were obtained by executing the FLUENT program. It was observed, from the diagram obtained, that different pressure and velocity values were occurred in small and big angles of attack.Are the end of our study was the analysis of the models in 1/5 ratio down models of machined aluminium material. The flow observation experiments were performed on these models in the wind tunnel.
