Sûfî Benliğin İnşasında Nefs

Abstract

Tezimiz giriş, üç bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, tezin amacı, tarihi sınırları ve yöntemi açıklanmıştır. Tezimiz, sûfî benliğin inşasında, nefsin başat rolünü ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çerçevede tez, daha net bir bakış açısı yakalayabilmek için İbnü'l Arâbî öncesi dönemle sınırlandırılmıştır. Bu dönemde yazılan klasik eserler, nefs kavramını açıklamak için esas alınmıştır. Benlik kavramının kullanımı, modern bir bilim olan psikolojiden faydalanmayı da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu sebeple tezimizde tasavvuf düşüncesi ile modern düşünce bir arada kullanılarak, karşılaştırmalı bir yöntem takip edilmiştir. Bununla beraber, klasik eserlerdeki nefs düşüncesi, daima tezin ana eksenini oluşturmuştur. Modern düşünce, tasavvufun günümüzle bağlantısını kurabilmek için yardımcı bir unsur olarak kullanılmıştır. Giriş kısmında, bu yöntem ayrıca açıklanmıştır. Birinci bölümde, Kelâm, Felsefe ve Tasavvufta nefs kavramının anlamları verilmiştir. Beden, akıl, ruh, kalp ve sır kavramlarına da nefsin anlamsal bütünlüğünü sağlamak adına ayrıca değinilmiştir. Böylece tasavvuf düşüncesinde nefs kavramının anlamsal haritası ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Zira tasavvuf düşüncesinde nefs, gittikçe kendine has bir anlam kazanmıştır. İkinci bölümde, modern benlikten sûfî benliğe geçiş yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, sûfî benliğin imkânı, kaynakları ve oluşum süreci ortaya konulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde, sûfî benliğin evrensel boyutu gerekçeleriyle beraber incelenmiştir. Tasavvuftaki nefs düşüncesinin, nefse karşı geliştirilmiş olan tavrın ve benlik inşasını oluşturan sürecin, evrensel ölçekte ne derece geçerli olduğu sorunu, üçüncü bölümde mercek altına alınmıştır. Tezimizde, tanımlanabilir bir sûfî benliğin mümkün olduğu ve bu benliğin oluşum sürecinde nefsin temel bir unsur olarak rol aldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Our thesis consist of introduction, three parts and conclusion. In the introduction, it is described aim of the thesis, historical boundaries and method. Our thesis aims to explain the dominant role of an-Nafs in building of sufi self. In this context, to catch out more clear perspective, thesis has been restricted with the previous period of İbnü'l Arabi. The classical works having been written during this term, has been essential element explaining the an-Nafs- concept. The use of self-concept, brings along benefiting from the psychology which is a modern science. Therefore in our thesis, using the combination of sufism and modern thought, has been pursuing a comparative method. At the same time, the idea of the an-Nafs in the classical works, has been formed the main axis of the thesis. Modern thought has been used as an auxiliary element to establish the connection between the sufism and nowadays. In the introduction, this method is also described. In the first part are given the meanings of an-Nafs concept in the theology, philosophy and the sufism. To provide semantic integrity of an-Nafs-concept, it has been also mentioned from body, soul, mind, heart and secret concepts. Thus, semantic map of the an-Nafs-concept in the sufism thought has been revealed. Because, an-Nafs-concept in the thought of sufism, has gradually gained unique meaning. In the second chapter, it is made a transition from modern self to sufi self. In this context, the possibility of sufi-self, its sources and formation process has been disclosed. In the third chapter, along with the reasons, the universal dimension of sufi self has been examined. The idea of an-Nafs in the sufism and the attitude which is developed against the an-Nafs and the process in which the self-construction, to what extent the current problem on a universal scale, has been scrutinized in the third chapter. In our thesis, it is possible a definable sufi self that soul has acted as a part as an essential element in the formation process of this self has been concluded.
