Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Samsun İli ve ilçelerinden 195 adet çevresel örnekte (115 toprak örneği, 52 su örneği, 14 mantar örneği ve 14 karalahana örneği) doğal olarak bulunan radyonüklitlerin aktivite derişimleri gama-ışını spektrometresi kullanılarak ölçülmüş ve bu radyonüklitlerden kaynaklanan radyolojik risk, gama radyasyon doz hızı, yıllık etkin doz hızı ve dış ışınlama indisleri hesaplanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Toprak örneklerinin içerdiği 238U, 232Th ve 40K doğal radyonüklitlerinin aktivite derişimlerinin ortalama değerleri, sırasıyla 37,4±5,2 Bq/kg, 39,5±5,2 Bq/kg ve 377,1±33,4 Bq/kg olarak bulunmuştur. Dış ortamda havada soğrulan gama doz hızı, 57,0±7,6 nGy/h, buna karşılık gelen yıllık etkin doz hızı 70,34±9,27 S/y ve dış ışınlama indisi ise 0,30±0,02 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu bilgiler esas alınarak Samsun İline ait izoaktivite ve izodoz haritaları oluşturulmuştur. Su örneklerinin yapılan gama spektrometrik analizler neticesinde 214Pb ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,15 Bq/l, 214Bi ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,09 Bq/l, 208Tl ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,04 Bq/l, 228Ac ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,06 Bq/l, 40K ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,49 Bq/l, 137Cs ortalama aktivite konsantrasyonu 0,06 Bq/l olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Mantar örneklerinin içerdiği 238U, 232Th, 40K ve 137Cs'nin aktivite derişimler derişimlerinin ortalama değerleri,sırasıyla 0,219 Bq/kg, 0,141 Bq/kg, 102,7 Bq/kg 0,537 Bg/kg olarak tespit edilmiştir. Karalahana örneklerinin içerdiği, 238U, 232Th, 40K ve 137Cs'nin aktivite derişimlerinin ortalama değerleri de, sırasıyla 0,138 Bq/kg, 0,151 Bq/kg, 57,26 Bq/kg ve 0,043 Bg/kg olarak bulunmuştur. Mantar ve karalahananın tüketilmesi sonucunda Samsun ili ve ilçelerinde yaşayan bireylerin aldığı yıllık etkin doz hızı değerlendirilmiştir.
The aim of this study is determine the natural radiactivity concentration in the specimens of water, mushroom and cabbage which are collected from provinces of Samsun and to calculate the external hazard index, annual effective dose and absorbed gamma dose resulting from these natural activities. With this aim, 115 soil samples, 52 water samples and 14 cabbage and 14 mushroom samples were collected. The gamma radiation measurement of soil samples was held via NaI(Tl) detectored gamma spectrometry system. The activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th ve 40K in the soil samples were found respectively to be 37,43±5,17 Bq/kg, 39,49±5,24 Bq/kg, 377,14±33,42 Bq/kg. Absorbed gamma dose rate resulting from activity of soil samples was calculated to be 57,02±7,64 nGy/s, annual effective dose was calculated to be 70,34±9,27 μS/y and external hazard index was calculated as 0,30±0,02. Under the light of this information, izo activity and izo dose maps of Samsun were formed. The gamma radiation measurement of soil samples was held via HPGe detectored gamma spectrometry system. In the water samples, 214Pb, 214Bi, 208Tl, 228Ac, 40K and 137Cs activity concentrations were determined. The mean activity concentrations of 214Pb, 214Bi, 208Tl, 228Ac, 40K and 137Cs in water samples were found respectively to be 0,15 Bq/l, 0,09 Bq/l, 0,04 Bq/l, 0,06 Bq/l, 0,49 Bq/l, 0,06 Bq/l. The mean activity concentrations of 238U, 232Th, 40K and 137Cs in analyzed mushroom samples were found as 0,219 Bq/kg, 0,141 Bq/kg, 102,78 Bq/kg and 0,537 Bg/kg, respectively. The mean activity concentrations of 238U,232Th 40K and 137Cs in analyzed cabbage samples were found as 0,138Bq/ kg, 0,151 Bq/kg, 57,26 Bq/kg and 0,043 Bg/kg 537 Bg/kg, respectively. The effective dose rate resulting from this activity and the rate that the people will take in by ingesiing these nutritions were calculated.
