At the intersection of postmodernism and cinema, digital platforms offer an innovative context that redefines the concept of space. In this way, space becomes not only a physical background but also a narrative element enriched with aesthetic, cultural and ideological elements. The Hannibal series is a powerful example of how space design is integrated with postmodern aesthetics and how it leaves an impact on the audience. The spaces used in the series are not only the movement spaces of the characters, but also metaphorical reflections of their psychological states, ideological conflicts and the narrative. The grotesque murder scenes shaped by aesthetics both disturb the viewer and prompt a deep questioning process on ethics and aesthetics. The viewer is confronted with simulations that manipulate their spatial perceptions and encourage them to get lost in the fictional world. © 2025, IGI Global Scientific Publishing.en_US
