Suriyeli Göçmenlerin Sosyal ve Kültürel Analizi: Samsun Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışma, kentsel alanlarda göçmen entegrasyonunun durumuna odaklanmakta ve Suriyeli göçmenlerin Türk toplumuna entegrasyonunun sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik yönleri nasıl etkilediğine cevap aramaktadır. Samsun'un merkez ilçelerinde yaşayan göçmenlerin sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik entegrasyonuna ilişkin sonuçlar teorik ve metodolojik olarak nicel araştırma yöntemine dayanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda teorik bir altyapı oluşturulduktan sonra, göçmenlerin sosyal kabulünü etkileyen değişkenler ve sosyal kabul sürecini etkileyen olgular Samsun ilinde belirlenen 250 kişilik bir örneklem üzerinde analiz edilmiştir. Veriler anket yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Literatür taramasında belirlenen göçmen entegrasyonunun sosyal, kültürel ve ekonomik göstergeleri, amaca uygun olarak anket için daraltılmış, soru formatına dönüştürülerek sahada uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, Suriyeli göçmenlerin Türk toplumuna sosyal ve kültürel entegrasyonlarına katkıda bulunan etnik ve dini faktörlere sahip oldukları; ancak ucuz işgücü, düşük gelir ve kadın istihdamı gibi faktörler ekonomik açıdan bütünleşmelerine zorlaştırdığı; sosyal entegrasyon, sosyal köprülerde yetersiz bulunmuştur. Ancak, entegrasyonun etkileşimli doğası, kentsel göçmen entegrasyon süreçlerinin eksikliklerinden biri olduğundan, gelecekte Türkiye'deki göçmenlerin başarılı bir şekilde entegrasyonu için ana gerekliliklerden biri olması beklenmektedir.

This study focuses on the situation of refugee integration in urban areas and seeks answers to how the integration of refugees into Turkish society affects social, cultural and economic aspects. The results regarding the social, cultural and economic integration of urban refugees living in the central regions of Samsun are theoretically and methodologically based on quantitative research methods. After creating a theoretical infrastructure in this direction, the variables affecting the social acceptance of refugees and the phenomena affecting the social acceptance process were analyzed on a sample of 250 people in Samsun Province. The data were obtained by the survey method. The social, cultural and economic indicators of refugee integration determined in the literature review were narrowed down for survey and interview forms, converted into question format and applied in the field. As a result of the study, it was concluded that urban refugees have ethnic and religious factors that contribute to their social and cultural integration into Turkish society; however, factors such as cheap labor, low income and female employment make economic integration difficult; Social integration was found to be insufficient in social bridges. However, since the interactive nature of integration is one of the shortcomings of urban refugee integration processes, it is expected to be one of the main reasons for successful integration of refugees in Turkey in the future.
