A Preliminary Research on Mollusca Species of Some Freshwaters of Sinop and Bafra

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı Sinop ve Bafra'daki bazı tatlısu ekosistemlerindeki mollusk faunasının araştırılmasıydı. Örnekler littoral zonlardan (0.5-1.5 m) el dreci, spatula, el küreği kullanılarak sağlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda 12 tanesi Gastropoda'ya, 6 tanesi Bivalvia'ya ait olmak üzere toplam 18 mollusk türü saptanmıştır. Valvata pulchella Studer,1820, Gyraulus parvus (Say,1817) (Gastropoda), Unio mancus eucirrus Bourguignat,1860 (Bivalvia) Türkiye tatlısulannın Mollusca faunası için yeni kayıttır.The aim of this work was to investigate mollusc fauna of some freshwater ecosystems in Sinop and Bafra. The samples were obtained from littoral zones (0.5-1.5 m) by using handle dredge, spatula, handle oar. As a result of this study, 12 species belonging to Gastropoda and 6 species belonging to Bivalvia, totally 18 Mollusca species were determined. Valvata pulchella Studer,1820, Gyraulus parvus (Say, 1817) (Gastropoda), Unio mancus eucirrus Bourguignat,1860 (Bivalvia) are new records for the Mollusca fauna of freshwaters of Turkey.
