Anadolu Sahası Türk Halk Masalları ve Halk Hikâyelerinde 'Su' Motifi

Abstract

Halkın sözlü geleneğinde yaşayan ürünler çevresel şartlardan, kültürel ögelerden, mitolojik ögelerden izler taşır. Bunlar bazen motif bazen sembol olarak karşımıza çıkar. Su, hiç kuşkusuz yeryüzündeki en önemli maddelerden biridir. Dünyanın dörtte üçü sudan, insan vücudunun ise yüzde yetmişinin sudan oluşması suyun önemini belirtmektedir. Suyun insan hayatı için önemi, halk anlatılarında da geniş yer bulmasına neden olur. Kendisine kutsallık atfedilen su, Anadolu masal ve halk hikâyelerinin hemen hepsinde farklı işlevlerle karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Anadolu sahasında yaygın olarak bilinen masal ve halk hikâyesi örnekleri incelenerek suyun kullanıldığı işlevler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada incelenen örneklerde suyun öncelikle mitolojik ve dini metinlerde sıkça karşımıza çıkması bu başlıklarda incelenmesi gerektiğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu inceleme ve araştırmalardan sonra masallarda ve halk hikâyelerinde suyun gerçek ve sembolik kullanımları incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. İki türde de suyun işlevleri genellikle aynı olmakla beraber türlerin özelliklerine göre farklılaşabilmektedir.

The products that live in the oral tradition of the people also have traces of environmental conditions, cultural elements, mythological elements. Sometimes these are sometimes symbols. Water is undoubtedly one of the most important substances on earth. The fact that three-quarters of the world consists of water and seventy percent of the human body is the importance of water. The importance of water for human life causes it to have a wide place in folk narratives. The water which is attributed to it as sacredness, has different functions in almost all of the Anatolian tales and folk tales. In this study, the examples of fairy tales and folk stories which are commonly known in the field of Anatolia have been examined and the functions of water are tried to be determined. In this context, the fact that water is first encountered in mythological and religious texts in the examples examined revealed that these topics should be examined. After these investigations and researches, the real and symbolic uses of water in tales and folk tales have been studied. In both types, the functions of water are generally the same but can be differentiated according to the characteristics of the species.
