Psikolojik Danışmada Cinsiyet Farklılıklarının Önemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, danışan ve danışmanların cinsiyet farklılıkları nedeniyle psikolojik danışmanın sağlayacağı avantajlar üzerinde de durulmuştur. Sonuç olarak cinsiyet farklılıklarının a sürecinde ortaya çıkan sorunlar üzerinde durulmuştur. Danışma ortamlarında danışman tutumları ve danışma ilişkisinin nasıl olması gerektiği konusunda bilgiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca danışma sürecinde cinsiyet farklılıklarının danışman tarafından iyi bir şekilde bilinmesinin danışma sürecine olumlu katkılar sağlayacağı belirtilmiştir.This study investigated the problems that occur as a result of gender differences between counselor and client in the process of counseling. Counselor 's attitudes towards the process of counseling were discussed and information about what makes an effective counseling process was given. In addition, the study dealt with the advantages that contribute to counseling success when the counselor is aware of gender differences. The study concluded that being knowledgeable gender differences lead to positive outcomes in the process of counseling.
