IV RECIPROCAL HİPERYÜZEYLERİN BAZI KARAKTERİSTİK ÖZELLİKLERİ ÖZET Bu çalışma temelde beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde konunun ele alınma nedeni tartışıldı. İkinci bölümde konuya temel teşkil eden çalışmalara, üçüncü bölümde ise Öklid uzayı ve yüzeyler teorisi ile ilgili temel kavramlara yer verildi. Dördüncü bölümde, £3, 3- boyutlu Öklid uzayında tanımlı reciprocal yüzeylerle ilgili temel kavramlar verilerek, Sanoğtugil ve Kuruoğlu [14] tarafından verilen 'On The Characteristic Properties Of The Reciprocal Surfaces In The Euclidean Space £3' adlı çalışma incelendi Çalışmamızın orijinal kısmım meydana getiren beşinci bölümde ise En+1, (w+l)- boyutlu Öklid uzayında reciprocal hiperyüzey tanımlandı ve bu yüzeyin temel formları, hiperalan elementi, Gauss ve ortalama eğrilikleri, yüksek mertebeden Gauss eğriliği, hacim elementi, şekil operatörünün matrisi ve karakteristik polinomu hesaplandı. SOME CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES OF THE RECIPROCAL HYPERSURFACES ABSTRACT This study consists of five fundamental chapters. In the first chapter, it is discussed why this study is taken into consideration. In the second chapter, studies which is main into subject has been presented. In the third chapter, fundamental concept about Euclidean space and surfaces theory has been examined. In the fourth chapter, fundamental concept about 3- dimensional reciprocal surfaces in Euclidean space E3 has been examined and the article given by Sanoğlugil & Kuruoğlu [14] has been investigated. The fifth chapter is the orijinal part of this study. In this chapter, the (n+iy dimensional reciprocal hypersurfoce has been presented in Euclidean space En+l and fundamental forms, hyper area element, Gauss and mean curvature, higher order Gaussian curvatures, volume element, the matrix of shape operatör and characteristic polynom for this surface has been calculated.
