Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Orta Karadeniz (Sinop-Samsun-Ordu) kıyı şeridi ve açık deniz boyunca deniz suyu kalitesinin mevsimsel değişimi incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla deniz suyu örneklerinde kıyı ekosistemi üzerinde olumsuz etkileri olan fiziksel parametrelerin konsantrasyonları izlenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında, karasal etki altındaki kıyı sularının ve açık deniz sularının özelliklerinin mevsimsel olarak karşılaştırılabilmesi amacıyla Orta Karadeniz (Sinop-Samsun-Ordu) kıyı şeridinde Ocak, Nisan, Temmuz ve Kasım 2013 aylarında kıyıdan 500 metre, 3 mil ve 20 mil açıkta olmak üzere üç farklı mesafeden alınan deniz suyu örneklerin sıcaklık, pH, elektriksel iletkenlik, çözünmüş oksijen, tuzluluk ve toplam çözünmüş katı madde ölçümleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler Yüzeysel Su Kalitesi Yönetimi Yönetmeliği (2012) Rekreasyon Maksadıyla Kullanılan Kıyı ve Geçiş Sularının Sağlaması Gereken Standart Değerler açısından değerlendirilmiş ve deniz suyu örneklerinin pH ve çözünmüş oksijen değerleri açısından uygun nitelikte olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Orta Karadeniz; Kirlilik; Fiziksel Kirleticiler; Deniz Suyu Kalitesi.
In this study, the seasonal variation of seawater quality along coastline and offshore of the Mid-Black Sea (Sinop-Samsun-Ordu) was examined. For this purpose, concentrations of physical parameters that have negative effects on the coastal ecosystems were monitored in the seawater samples. In the study, temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, salinity, total dissolved solids measurements were performed on site, in the seawater samples taken from the Mid-Black Sea coast (Sinop-Samsun-Ordu) at three distances, 500 meters, 3 miles and 20 miles in January, April, July and November 2013 in order to compare coastal waters under the terrestrial impact offshore waters seasonally. The obtained data were evaluated according to Surface Water Quality Management Regulation (2012) in terms of standard values that must be provided for Recreation Intended Coastal and Transitional Waters and it was identified that seawater samples in terms of pH and dissolved oxygen saturation values have appropriate quality. Key Words: Mid-Black Sea; Pollution; Physical Pollutants; Marine Water Quality.
