Publication: Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması Dersi Veren Öğretim Elemanlarının Acil Uzaktan Eğitim Süreci Kapsamındaki Faaliyetlerine Yönelik Görüşleri
Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı; Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması dersi veren öğretim elemanlarının Acil Uzaktan Eğitim (AUE) süreci kapsamındaki faaliyetlerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Bu doğrultuda ilgili öğretim elemanlarının Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması dersi özelinde Acil Uzaktan Eğitim sürecine hazırlık süreçleri, bu süreçte kullanılan kaynaklar, ilgili sürece yönelik üniversitelerinin sağladığı hizmet içi eğitim ve Uzaktan Eğitime yönelik alt yapısı, söz konusu dersin bu süreçteki verimliliği, öğrencilerin Uzaktan Eğitim sürecine devam durumları, ders uygulama biçimlerinin durumu, bu süreçte ödevlendirme ile ölçme sınama sistemi ve sınav güvenilirliğine yönelik görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmış, doküman analizi ve görüşme sorularının değerlendirilmesinden yapılan betimsel analiz yöntemi ile veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye'deki Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitim Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dallarında Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması dersi veren öğretim elemanları, örneklemini ise Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, Trakya Üniversitesi, Marmara Üniversitesi, Gazi Üniversitesi, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi, Atatürk Üniversitesi, Giresun Üniversitesi, Harran Üniversitesi ve Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitim Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Ana Bilim Dallarında Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması dersi veren 11 öğretim elemanı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; ilgili öğretim elemanlarının Batı Müziği Teori ve Uygulaması dersi kapsamında, Acil Uzaktan Eğitim sürecine kaynakları gözden geçirerek ve doküman oluşturarak hazırlandıkları, bu süreçte kullanılan kaynakların AUE'ye uygun/ulaşılabilir olduğu ve kaynak paylaşımı esnasında web tabanlı eğitim sistemi ve iletişim teknolojileri kullandıkları, ilgili sürece yönelik üniversitelerinin sağladığı hizmet içi eğitimin iyi olduğu ve Uzakta Eğitime yönelik alt yapısının uygun olduğu, söz konusu dersin bu süreçteki verimliliğinin az olduğu, öğrencilerin Uzaktan Eğitim sürecine devam durumlarının iyi olmadığı, ilgili süreçte genel olarak senkron ders uygulama biçiminin tercih edildiği, bu süreçte ödevlendirme için genel olarak UZEM sisteminin tercih edildiği ve teknoloji tabanlı müzik uygulamalarını önerme eğiliminde oldukları, ölçme sınama yöntemlerinin öğrenci kaynaklı güvensiz bulunduğu ve genel olarak AUE döneminde sınav güvenilirliğinin düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The aim of the research; It is to evaluate the activities of the instructors who teach Western Music Theory and Practice within the scope of Emergency Distance Education (EDE) process. In this direction, the preparation processes of the relevant instructors for the Western Music Theory and Practice course specifically for the Emergency Distance Education process, the resources used in this process, the in-service training provided by their universities for the relevant process and the infrastructure for Distance Education, the efficiency of the course in question in this process, the continuation status of the students in the Distance Education process, the status of the course application methods, their views on the measurement and examination system and exam reliability with assignments in this process were examined. Descriptive survey model was used in the research, and data were obtained by descriptive analysis method from document analysis and evaluation of interview questions. The population of the research consists of instructors who teach Western Music Theory and Practice course in Music Education Departments of Fine Arts Education Departments in Faculties of Education in Turkey, and the sample consists of 11 instructors who teach Western Music Theory and Practice course in Music Education Departments of Fine Arts Education Departments in Ondokuz Mayıs University, Trakya University, Marmara University, Gazi University, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Atatürk University, Giresun University, Harran University and Gaziosmanpaşa University. As a result of the research; It was determined that the relevant instructors prepared for the Emergency Distance Education process by reviewing the resources and creating documents within the scope of the Western Music Theory and Practice course, the resources used in this process were suitable/accessible for EDE and they used web-based education system and communication technologies during resource sharing, the in-service training provided by their universities for the relevant process was good and the infrastructure for Distance Education was appropriate, the efficiency of the course in question in this process was low, the continuation status of the students in the Distance Education process was not good, synchronous course application method was generally preferred in the relevant process, UZEM system was generally preferred for assignments in this process and they tended to suggest technology-based music applications, measurement and examination methods were found unreliable by lecturers and exam reliability was generally low during EDE period.
