(E)-2-Acetyl-4-[(3-Chlorophenyl)Diazenyl]Phenol

Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, C<inf>13</inf>H<inf>10</inf>ClN <inf>2</inf>O<inf>2</inf>, is essentially planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the central N=N double bond. The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 0.73 (16)°. There is a strong intramolecular O-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interaction which stabilizes the molecular structure. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
