Abstract
Bu çalışmada Karadeniz Bölgesi'nin on bir ilinde DİB'e bağlı işitme engellilere eğitim veren on iki Kur'an kursu uygulama alanı olarak seçilmiş, çalışmaya kırk beş öğrenci katılmıştır. Katılımcılara dinî eğitim öncesi, kursa kayıt süreci, Kur'an-ı Kerim eğitim ve öğretim süreci olmak üzere üç ana başlık altında çeşitli sorular yöneltilmiştir. Bu sorular sayesinde işitme engelli bireylerin Kur'an-ı Kerim eğitim-öğretim sürecini gözlemlemek, DİB'in İşitme Engellilere Özel Elif-Bâ cüzünün işlevselliğini tespit ederek alanla ilgili literatüre katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır.
Healthy individuals reach any and every service and information easily, whereas this case includes difficulties for the handicapped individuals. This case becomes even more important, when the claimed is the religious education. The Presidency of Religious Affairs, who has official right to open Kur'an courses in our country, where each and every individual has equal right to receive education, makes such services more available by each new regulation they do. In this work, twelve Kur'an courses under the PRA that provide education to the hearing impaired in eleven provinces along the Blacksea Region were chosen as the application fields, and forty five students participated in the work. Several questions under three topics such as the pre-religious education, the registration process, and the Kur'an education process were forwarded to the participants. Through these questions, it was aimed to observe the Kur'an education process for the hearing impaired individuals, to detect the functionality of the Alef-Ba booklet for the Hearing Impaired of the PRA, and to provide some new input to the literature. As one of the frequently applied methods in the social sciences, the qualitative research method was preferred in the study. The document analysis, interview, and the onseration technics were used as the data collection method. The semi structured interview questions were forwarded to the volunteering participants, and the data was collected based on the given answers. Such data was input to the digital media by the researcher, and were interpreted. It was seen that the majority of the participants hadn't received religious education before joining the Kur'an courses. It was detected that, due to lack of oral and auditory faculties, they read the Holy Kur'an by the Turkish sign language digital alphabet, they used the visual memory during the memorization of the prayers, and they preferred mutliple repeats in order to prevent forgetting. In addition, it was observed that the Holy Kur'an education aiming the hearing impaired individuals contributed them in terms of personal and social levels. This work may provide a new point of view to the researchers who work on the religious education and Holy Kur'an education aiming the handicapped individuals.
