Abstract
Bu araştırma, Samsun ekolojik koşullarına uygun maltlık ve yemlik ( 7 çeşit ve 1 hat) arpa çeşitlerinin belirlenmesi amacı ile Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, Ziraat Fakültesi, Araştırma Uygulama alanında (Kurupelit kampusu) ve Bafra Köy Hizmetleri Araştırma Enstitüsü deneme alanında 2001-2002 ve 2002-2003 yıllar arasında yürütülmüştür. Tesadüf blokları deneme deseninde 4 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülen bu araştırmada arpa materyali olarak 6 sıralı Kıral, Erginel, Plaisent, Çetin-2000 ve 2 sıralı Sladoran, Balkan- 96, Fahrettin bey çeşitleri ve Sitap 01/6 A hattı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada fenolojik özelliklerden başaklanma süresi, agronomik ve morfolojik özelliklerden bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta tane sayısı, başakta tane ağırlığı, hasat indeksi ile tane verimi incelenmiştir. Ayrıca kalite kriterlerinden 1000 tane ağırlığı ve hektolitre ağırlığı da belirlenmiştir. İki yıl ve iki lokasyonda yürütülen araştırma sonucuna göre en fazla tane verimi Fahrettin bey (590.8 kg/da), Sladoran (562.8 kg/da) ve Sitap 01/6A (556.8 kg/da) çeşitleri ve hattından, en yüksek 1000 tane ağırlığı Sitap 01/6A (52.0 g)'den, en yüksek hektolitre ağırlığı ise Fahrettin bey (68.1 kg/hl) ile Balkan-96 (66.4 kg/hl) çeşitlerinden elde edilmiştir. Arpa çeşitlerinin tane verimi ile incelenen karakterler arasındaki korelasyon katsayıları bitki boyu (r=0.489**) ve başak uzunluğu (r=0.389**) olumlu ve çok önemli çıkarken, diğerleri önemsiz olmuştur. This research, determination of malting and mager 8 barley, suitable for the Samsun ecological conditions, this research was carried out in Faculty of Agriculture at the University Ondokuz Mayıs research application field (Kurupelit) and Bafra Rural Services Research Institute between 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. The research was conducted in randomized block design with 4 replications. As the barley material six-row Kıral, Erginel, Plaisent, Cetin-2000 and two-row Sladoran, Balkan- 96, Sitap 01/20 A (Fahrettin bey) and Sitap 01/6 A varietys were used. In this research some of the phenological characteristics heading period, the agronomic and morpholgical characteristics plant height, spike lenght, the ear length, number of tiller per plant, grain yield and harvest index, the quality characteristics 1000-grain weight, hectoliter weight were investigated. According to the 2 years and on 2 locations research results; the highest results were gained for grain yield Fahrettin bey (590.8 kg/da), Sladoran (562.8 kg/da) and Sitap 01/6A (556.8 kg/da) varietys, the highest results for 1000-grain weight Sitap 01/6A (52.0g), the highest results for hectoliter weight Fahrettin bey (68.1 kg/hi) and Balkan-96 (66.4 kg/hi) varietys respectively. As the relationships were found positive and very important, the plant height, spike lenght the correlation coefficient between the characteristics which were investigated with the barley varietys grain yield, the other values are unimportant.
