Doğan Kardeş Dergisindeki Edebî Metinlerin Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programındaki Değerler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma, Doğan Kardeş Dergisi'nin 1-100. sayılarında bulunan edebî metinlerin (hikâye, masal, roman, şiir, tiyatro) 2018 yılında yürürlüğe giren Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan değerler öğretimi ile uyumu incelenmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Hikâye, masal, roman, şiir, tiyatro türlerinde 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programına ait hangi değerlerin bulunduğu, bu değerlerin ne sıklıkta yer aldığı ve bu metinlerden Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde nasıl yararlanılacağı tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın veri kaynağını, Doğan Kardeş Dergisi'nin 1945-1960 yılları arasında yayımlanan sayıları oluşturmaktadır. İkinci Dünya Savaşı'nın bitmesiyle Türkiye'de ortaya çıkan birtakım gelişmeler, Demokrat Parti'nin başa gelmesi ile yaşanan iktidar değişikliği ve çok partili yaşama geçiş Türkiye'de özellikle eğitim, sosyal ve kültürel alanlarda değişimlere sebep olmuştur. Söz konusu yıl aralığında yaşanan bu gelişmelerin dergide yer alan edebî metinlere yansıdığı ve bu metinlerde işlenen değerler aracılığıyla günümüze bilgiler sunduğu düşünüldüğü için evren 1945- 1960 yıl aralığı olarak seçilmiştir. Örneklem ise derginin 1-100. sayıları olarak belirlenmiştir. Doğan Kardeş Dergisi'nin araştırmaya konu olan tüm sayılarına İstanbul Beyazıt Devlet Kütüphanesi'nden ulaşılmıştır. Örnekleme dahil olan tüm sayıların orijinal içeriklerinin fotoğrafları çekilerek söz konusu veriler elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda, 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan 18 değerden 13'ü tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar sevgi, çalışkanlık, yardımseverlik, dayanışma, dürüstlük, vatanseverlik, sorumluluk, aile birliğine önem verme, adalet, saygı, barış, tasarruf, özgürlüktür. Araştırma sonucunda, 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretim Programında yer alan 18 değerden 13'ü tespit edilmiştir. Bunlar sevgi, çalışkanlık, yardımseverlik, dayanışma, dürüstlük, vatanseverlik, sorumluluk, aile birliğine önem verme, adalet, saygı, barış, tasarruf, özgürlüktür. Sonuç: Dergide yer alan edebî metinlerin Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde değerler eğitimi verilirken ders kitaplarına ek yardımcı öğretim materyali olarak kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The literary texts (story, fairy tale, novel, poem, theater) in the number of issues in the Social Studies Curriculum given in 2018 were prepared to be examined with their values. Method: In the study, document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The data source of the study consists of the issues of Doğan Kardeş Magazine published between 1945-1960. Some developments that emerged in Turkey after the end of the Second World War, the change in power with the coming to power of the Democratic Party and the transition to multi-party life caused changes in Turkey, especially in education, social and cultural areas. The universe was chosen as the year 1945-1960, since it is thought that these developments in the mentioned year period are reflected in the literary texts in the journal and that it provides information to the present through the values processed in these texts. The sample is on the 1-100th of the journal. determined as numbers. All the issues of Doğan Kardeş Magazine, which are the subject of the research, were accessed from the Istanbul Beyazıt State Library. The data in question were obtained by taking photographs of the original contents of all the numbers included in the sample. Findings: As a result of the research, 13 of the 18 values in the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum were determined. These are love, hard work, benevolence, solidarity, honesty, patriotism, responsibility, giving importance to family unity, justice, respect, peace, savings, freedom.
