1-[(2-Chloro-3,4-dimethoxybenzylidene)amino]-adamantane

Abstract

The title compound, C19H24ClNO2, was synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The adamantyl and benzene groups are bridged by an imine group, with a C-C=N-C torsion angle of -178.2 (2)degrees. Weak C-(HO)-O-... and C-H-...pi interactions are found in the crystal packing.
