Aristoteles'in Topikler ve Sofistçe Çürütmeler'inde İnformel Mantık

Abstract

İnsan düşünen bir varlık, mantık da doğru düşünme sanatı şeklinde tanımlandığında, mantığın; sosyal, kültürel ve politik bir takım sorunlar karşısında hangi noktada durduğu önemli gözükmektedir. Önemi itibariyle mantığın pratik işlevine dair sorgulamalar günden güne artmıştır. Bu sorgulamalar da İnformel Mantık adında yeni bir mantık türünün doğmasına vesile olmuştur. İnformel Mantık alanının içerdiği konulara bakıldığında ise köklerinin Aristoteles'e kadar uzandığı düşünülmektedir. Bundan dolayı, bu çalışmamızda informel mantık konularının bir kısmı, Aristoteles'in Topikler ve Sofistlerin Çürütmeleri Üzerine ya da bir başka çevirisiyle Sofistçe Çürütmeler adlı eserleri üzerinden incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışma bir giriş ve üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde çalışmanın amacı, önemi ve metodu hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde Mantık ve İnformel Mantık, tarihsel süreçleri çerçevesinde tanımlanmıştır. İkinci bölümde Aristoteles'in 'Topikler' eseri diyalektik bağlamda incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise 'Sofistlerin Çürütmeleri Üzerine' eseri mantık yanlışları bağlamında incelenmiştir. Anahtar Sözcükler: Mantık, Diyalektik, Mantık Yanlışları

If the human is defined to be a thinking creature and logic is the art of true thinking, where the logic stands against some social, culturel and political problems, is seemed to be significant. Due to its importance, quaries on practical uses of logic have increased day by day. These quaries caused the birth of a new type of logic which is called 'Informal Logic'. While regarding extent of informal logic, it is thought that the roots of it are based on Aristotle. Because of this, in our study, it is tried to research some of the topics of informal logic through the pieces of Aristotle called Topica and On Sophistical Refutations or Sophistical Refutations by another translation. This study is consist of an introduction and three main chapters. There are some informations about the purpose, importance and method of the study in introduction. In first chapter, logic and informal logic are defined regarding their historical process. In second chapter, the piece of Aristotle Topica has been searched on dialectical context. In third chapter, the piece called On Sophistical Refutations has been searched on the context of fallacy. Key Words: Logic, Dialectic, Fallacy
