Publication: Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Otantik Mutluluk İle Psikolojik İyi Oluş Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin psikolojik iyi oluşlarının ve otantik mutluluk düzeylerinin bazı demografik değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada genel tarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılı Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi'nde lisans programlarında öğrenim gören 383 kadın, 117 erkek toplam 500 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Verileri toplamak için Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği ve Otantik Mutluluk Ölçeği ile kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizi için IBM SPSS 21 istatistik paket programı kullanılmıştır. Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi sonucu araştırma verilerinin normal dağılım gösterdiği tespit edildiğinden verilerin analizinde parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, araştırmanın alt problemlerinin amacına uygun olarak, bağımsız gruplar için t-testi, Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA), Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı Analizi testleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada hata payı .05 olarak alınmıştır. Yapılan analizi sonuçları incelendiğinde, öğrencilerin psikolojik iyi oluş puan ortalamaları ile otantik mutluluk alt boyut puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı ve pozitif yönde orta düzeyde (r=.641; p<.01) ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. The aim of this research is to examine the psychological well-being and authentic happiness levels of university students in terms of some demographic variables. For this purpose, the relational screening model, one of the general screening models, was used in the research. The study group of the research consists of a total of 500 university students, 383 female and 117 male, studying in undergraduate programs at Ondokuz Mayıs University in the 2022-2023 academic year. Psychological Well-Being Scale and Authentic Happiness Scale and a personal information form were used to collect data. IBM SPSS 21 statistical package program was used to analyze the data obtained. Since it was determined that the research data showed normal distribution as a result of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, parametric tests were used in the analysis of the data. In this context, in accordance with the purpose of the sub-problems of the research, t-test for independent groups, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Pearson Correlation Coefficient Analysis tests were applied. The margin of error in the research was taken as .05. When the results of the analysis were examined, it was found that there was a significant and positive moderate (r=.641; p<.01) relationship between the students' psychological well-being score averages and the authentic happiness subscale score averages. In the study, it was determined that there was a significant, negative, moderate (r= -.558; p<.01) relationship between the students' psychological well-being mean scores and the ambivalent happiness subscale mean scores.
