Karadeniz Bölgesinde Turizm Sektörünün Hareketlendirilmesinde Spor ve Rekreasyon Tesis ve Organizasyonlarının Analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde turizmin hareketlendirilmesinde spor ve rekreasyon tesis ve organizasyonlarının türlerinin belirlenmesi için bölgede yer alan 17 ildeki yetkililere bir anket uygulanmış ve anket SPSS istatistik paket programı ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmamızda turizm ve spor, spor ve rekreasyon, rekreasyon ve turizmin birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri açıklanmıştır. Turizmin dünya ve Türkiye ekonomisi içindeki yeri ve önemine değinilmiştir. Ayrıca Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde gerçekleştirilen sportif ve rekreatif etkinliklerin bu günkü durumları konusunda bilgi verilmiştir. Anket sonuçlarına göre bölgemizde turistik değer taşıyan pek çok sportif ve rekreatif kaynak olduğu, ancak bunların yeterince tanınmadığı ve tanıtılamadığı, bölgenin ulaşım ve konaklama imkanlarının yetersiz olduğu, bölgedeki konaklama tesislerinde turistlerin uzun süre kalmalarını sağlayacak yeterli sportif ve rekreatif merkezlerin olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Bölgeye gelen turistlerin fazla harcama yapmayan orta gelir düzeyindeki kişiler olduğu ileri sürülmüştür. Ayrıca, illerdeki rekreatif ve sportif etkinliklerin büyük çoğunluğunun belediyeler tarafından, bir kısmının da Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlükleri tarafından düzenlendiği tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, the analysis of sports and recreation facilities and organizations in the activation of the tourism sector in the Black Sea Region has been done. To define the status of the present foundations and the types of the organizations, a questionnaire has been given to the authorities in the 17 provinces in the Black Sea Region. SPSS statistical programme has been used in the analysis of the findings. In this research, the relationship between tourism and sports; the relationship between sports and recreation; the relationship between recreation and tourism have been analysed respectively. The importance and place of tourism in the world and in Turkish economy has been stated. Besides, the current status of sportive and recreative activities in the Black Sea Region has been explained. According to the questionnaire findings, it has been found mat although there is a great number of sportive and recreative sources in the region, they are not well known and advertised properly. It has also not been pointed out that in the region, the transportation and accomodation facilities are not enough and there are not any sportive and recreative centers to enable the tourists to stay longer in those accomodations. On the other hand, tourists who prefer coming to that region can be said to be from middle class that do not spend much. Additionally, it has been claimed that most of the sportive and recreative activities in the provinces have been organized by the municipalities and some of them are organized by the Youth and Sports Provincial Administrations.
