Abstract

Our thesis which we have taken up disagreement principle to history-event from text criticism methods in hadith consists of introduction and three chapters. The aim of our reserarch is to reveal if disagreement principle to history-event can be used or not as a criticism principle in the evaluation of hadith texts. ' With this aim at the first chapter, criticism principles which are used in hadith and history science were told and compared. Furthermore, how historical knowledge is involved in The Holy Koran and how it was used by Our Prophet and his friends were taken up. In the next chapter rumours which are against to history-event in the right hadith source were showed. Besides, it was mentioned how disagreement principle to history was used in 'Mevzuat'. Finally, general problems in hadith texts were mentioned and points to be taken car efor when History is involved were pointed out. At the last chapter, especially in the problematic rumours from historical point of view, that subjects as comprehension of the writing the date on at that time, calender which was used in cahiliye term, 'nesi'' application and determining of Islamic calender later on must be kept in mind were explained and evaluated.
